Job Description Graduate Assistant - DPT Tutor Amarillo Amarillo 45239BR Position Description A graduate student in an institution within the Texas Tech University System employed in support of a department or unit responsible for work assigned by the supervisor within the unit or department which utilizes knowledge beyond undergraduate academic studies. Major/Essential Functions Coach students through difficult material. Actively engage DPT students by asking questions that will facilitate their understanding. Encourage students to improve their study methods. Maintain a professional attitude and helpful demeanor. Provide constructive and accurate feedback. Dependably manage tutoring appointments and communicate any schedule changes with all parties involved. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and appointments. Assist with other tasks related to DPT program functions, faculty, or courses as assigned by the GA supervisor.
