We're Hiring:
Pre-ETS Instructor (Part-Time) Excite All Stars — a New Orleans nonprofit celebrating 19 years of youth development — is looking for a Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Instructor to empower students on the autism spectrum as they prepare for their futures. If you love hands-on teaching and believe every student deserves the tools to thrive, this role is for you. What you'll do: Deliver engaging, interactive lessons tailored to each student's needs Use creative teaching strategies and provide accommodations Prepare lessons that build critical thinking and real-world readiness Collaborate with school staff and teammates Keep attendance, materials, and reports on track What you bring: Bachelor's degree (transcripts required) 12+ months of professional experience supporting individuals with disabilities Background in education, social work, or a related field (1 year documented, paid) Reliable transportation, a laptop/tablet, smartphone, and internet Strong organization and communication skills The details: Part-time, ~10-15 hrs/week Monday-Friday, daytime hours — no nights or weekends Follows the school calendar Up to $25/hour (based on experience) + monthly mileage stipend This is meaningful, flexible work with a supportive team making a real difference.
