This full-time contract position, based near Goose Creek, SC, is tailored for dynamic educators who are eager to inspire students across kindergarten through eighth grade. Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in General Education or Foreign Language (Mandarin Chinese) Demonstrated experience teaching Mandarin Chinese, ideally in K-8 settings Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster an inclusive learning environment Proven ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners and proficiency levels Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging Mandarin Chinese language curriculum to students in grades K-8 Integrate multicultural content and experiential learning into classroom activities Assess student progress and tailor instruction to individual needs Create a positive, encouraging environment that supports language acquisition and cultural appreciation Collaborate with staff in curriculum planning, parent engagement, and extracurricular programming Maintain up-to-date records of student achievement and participation
