Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification Prior K-8 experience strongly preferred Demonstrated experience in counseling and psychological assessments Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Solid understanding of mental health issues affecting children and adolescents

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments for K-8 students (full caseload, approximately 670 students) Deliver individual and group counseling for mental health support Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address student needs Develop/implement interventions for behavioral and emotional challenges Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to student goal planning Provide crisis intervention as necessary Educate school staff and parents on children's mental health topics Maintain comprehensive, confidential records of student assessments/interventions Perform additional duties as assigned
