You'll work consistently, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours weekly, managing a full caseload across a dynamic population of 670 students. Key Responsibilities:

Administer psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, social, and emotional development. Deliver individual and group counseling services addressing student mental health concerns. Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. Design and implement evidence-based interventions for emotional and behavioral issues. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise toward student goal development. Provide crisis intervention and support during times of acute student need. Educate faculty and families on youth mental health and available resources. Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of assessments and interventions. Support additional duties as needed to foster a positive school environment.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Active South Carolina School Psychologist certification. Previous experience conducting counseling and assessments in school settings. Advanced understanding of childhood and adolescent mental health concerns. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Direct experience with K-8 populations is highly valued.
