We are a growing, motivated company located in St. Francisville, LA . Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Electric Motor Technician to assist in the repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will work hands-on with mechanical components, ensuring high-quality repairs through disassembly, troubleshooting, inspection, reassembly, and final testing. This position follows a 4-days on / 4-days off shift schedule and is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities Disassemble, inspect, and repair electromechanical equipment with precision. Perform advanced troubleshooting, mechanical inspections, and diagnostic testing to determine repair requirements. Reassemble and conduct final quality control (QC) and performance testing to ensure equipment meets operational standards. Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment. Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electric motor repair, industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, diesel mechanics, or a related field. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Dependable and punctual with excellent communication skills. Must pass drug and physical testing. Preferred Experience Prior work in an electric motor shop or similar repair facility. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
