Maintenance Electrician Hurley, WI We offer Very Competitive Hourly Rates, ranging from $20
  • 35 per hour.
Benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid & vacation (pro-rated first year of hire) and profit sharing.
Day Shift Schedule:
6:00am
  • 4:00PM (Hours May Vary and Weekends hours when implementing projects) Snowbelt Hardwoods is seeking 1-2 full time Electrical maintenance & millwright positions to oversee preventive maintenance, trouble shoot breakdowns and fabricate as required in a Hardwood Lumber, Flooring Plant and Sawmill environment.
Snowbelt Hardwoods located in Hurley, WI was established in 1994 and is a family ran company that saws, dries, and manufactures Hardwood Lumber and Flooring throughout the USA, Mexico, Canada, Europe and Asia. Our ideal candidate(s) have an extensive electrical & millwright background with strong communication and management skills while also having an impeccable attendance record. This job opening is for a full-time position for an individual(s) seeking long-term employment with a well establish company with strong family-oriented ethics. As a Maintenance Electrician you will work as part of the Maintenance Department, responsible for maintaining equipment associated with the production of Snow Ridge Lumber, Snowbelt Hardwoods, Snow Country Hardwoods and Snow Timber Pellets through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance. Following Demonstrated Skills/Abilities:
Experience with manufacturing. PLC knowledge & experience in general electrical maintenance, instrumentation, and low to medium voltage electrical work experience is desirable. Experience with Kiln Motors, PLCS, & Drives. Basic machine shop, welding and fabricating skills. Work safely and protect the safety of others. Actively participate in a High-Performance Work Team environment, sharing knowledge and skills with all other team members. Support the planning and execution of daily/weekly preventative maintenance activities including work and parts preparation. Actively participate in failure analysis and equipment/ systems troubleshooting. Provide routine maintenance training to team members. Participate in cost effective decision making, identifying and maintaining critical spare parts inventory levels. Lead and execute repairs on manufacturing equipment. Actively participates in the design, implementation and upgrade of equipment and machinery. Read blueprints and related technical literature as required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Ability to maintain a work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime in the case of an emergency. Ability to work at heights, in pits and confined spaces. Understanding of predictive, preventative maintenance concepts and commitment to continuing education. Successful candidates will have strong communication, leadership, self-motivation, problem solving, decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a willingness and commitment to work as part of a collaborative team.
