$22-$24 per hour (based on experience) Position Purpose The Mechanical / Electronic Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and modifying custom systems and assemblies. This role requires interpreting instructions, using a variety of tools and components, and ensuring all assemblies meet customer specifications and quality standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic systems, including installation of components, subassemblies, wiring, and casings using hand tools and equipment.
• Perform manual assembly for small-scale electronic component production.
• Complete wire and cable assemblies, including crimping and stripping.
• Fit or solder parts together; some assemblies require adhesives or epoxies. Work may be performed under magnification.
• Inspect and test products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and verbal directions.
• Follow IPC-A-610 and related standards to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Maintain a consistent state of alertness and adhere to all safety practices.
• Contribute to team goals by performing additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Abilities High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong hand-eye coordination, vision, and manual dexterity for precise assembly of small components. Small hand assembly experience preferred. Strong attention to detail. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
