In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and refining advanced guidance, navigation, and control systems for cutting-edge aerospace platforms. Your expertise will drive the design, analysis, and testing of systems that ensure precise aircraft performance and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile aerospace projects, utilizing your technical prowess and passion for aerospace engineering to push the boundaries of flight technology. Duties Design, develop, implement, verify, and test high quality software and simulation toolchains for missile flight systems. Develop and integrate autopilot and guidance algorithms directly into missile flight code. Incorporate algorithms into the vehicle's flight software while collaborating with software and hardware teams. Utilize various trajectory optimization tools to generate, interpret, and analyze vehicle trajectory results. Modify or create new code and scripts (e.g., C++, Python, MATLAB, Bash) to capture customer requirements and measure vehicle performance. Build, validate, and maintain modeling and simulation frameworks for aerospace vehicles and components, ensuring accuracy across operational scenarios. Enhance simulation fidelity by integrating advanced modeling techniques to support system analysis and decision making. Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of simulation models, identifying and resolving discrepancies between simulated and real world performance metrics. Gather, and analyze large data sets to verify and validate performance results. Ensure that simulation outcomes match intended performance metrics and system specifications. Requirements U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance Education background in Aerospace Engineering GNC experience Strong knowledge of MATLAB, C++, Python 6DoF experience Mission control systems experience This is a contract position, offering an initial contract of 12 months with possibility of extension. Pay range is $65-$80/hour. Due to this being a contract position, no health insurance or benefits are not provided.
