PURPOSE AND PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES
This individual will be primarily responsible for the coordination of customer returns, reason for return validation, applicable corrective actions, and product returns. Will review and be responsible for the approval of product master routings, quality plans, and inspection plans used to support manufactured product. Coordinates AS9102 first article inspections, including the determination of an FAI need, creation of working/inspection files, and approval of submitted FAIRs for all levels of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Review manufacturing planning for incorporation of inspection and test points and determine special gauging requirements for manufactured products. Determine FAIR needs in accordance with AS9102, including identification of the need, template creation, FAIR review and approval, and record retention. Facilitate customer returns, including reason for return validations, receiving inspection, workorder creation, customer follow-ups, etc. Support new order contract reviews as needed. Perform trend analysis on product issues and corrective actions associated with product returns. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED B.S.
Degree (or equivalent practical industry experience) in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline. Requires strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Exposure to mechanical and/or automated inspection techniques. Thorough understanding of Quality systems and problem solving. Strong analytical skills using MS Excel and other MS Office programs. Ability to interpret technical requirements (drawings and standards) and implement them into the quality system or manufacturing process.

Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and analytical skills. Able to problem solve and handle a variety of issues. Excellent communication and time management skills.
