Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Aerospace Engineer to join our cutting-edge team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology and systems. In this role, you will lead the design, development, testing, and analysis of aerospace components and systems, ensuring they meet rigorous industry standards and client specifications. Your expertise will drive the creation of high-performance aircraft, spacecraft, and related systems, contributing to pioneering projects that push the boundaries of aerospace engineering. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges within a collaborative environment committed to excellence and innovation. Duties Develop detailed designs for aerospace components using CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD, ensuring precision and manufacturability Conduct structural analysis, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), and system simulations using MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, and other engineering tools to validate design integrity Manage requirements analysis and requirements management processes to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met throughout the development lifecycle Lead engineering development testing, including prototype fabrication, data collection, signal processing, and root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues effectively Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, manufacturing specialists, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of aerospace systems in compliance with AS9100 standards Perform system design reviews, safety assessments in accordance with FAA regulations and military standards (DoD experience preferred), and support certification efforts Utilize 3D modeling for product design and structural analysis to optimize airframe performance while adhering to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on aerospace applications Proven experience with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD; proficiency in CAD modeling for aerospace design is essential Strong knowledge of aerospace standards including AS9100 quality management system requirements and FAA regulations Experience with engineering programming languages such as Python, C++, C, MATLAB, and LabVIEW for data analysis and automation tasks Familiarity with systems engineering processes including requirements analysis, system design, integration, and verification Hands-on experience with engineering testing methods including structural analysis (FEA), fluid dynamics (CFD), vibration testing, and root cause analysis Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to aerospace components as well as assembly techniques Ability to interpret technical drawings using GD&T standards; experience with Pro/ENGINEER is a plus Understanding of military applications or DoD experience is advantageous Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and technical documentation
