We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Project Engineer to support and drive commercial construction projects across Aviation, Healthcare, and Manufacturing . This role sits at the center of the action, connecting the field, the office, and our partners to keep projects on track, on budget, and built right. You'll work on complex, high-profile jobs where accuracy matters, communication is critical, and execution is everything. What You'll Do Support and coordinate all phases of construction projects , from preconstruction through closeout Build, track, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction tools Review and manage drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution Assist with cost tracking, estimating, and budget controls using tools such as HeavyBid Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with safety, scope, and schedule Collaborate daily with Project Managers, Superintendents, architects, engineers, and clients Perform regular site visits and inspections to identify issues early and keep work moving Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation with precision Track project progress, risks, and opportunities, providing clear updates to the project team Ensure work complies with project requirements, industry standards, and company expectations What We're Looking For Experience as a Project Engineer or in construction management on commercial projects Exposure to aviation, healthcare, or manufacturing construction is a strong plus Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Civil 3D , and related tools Strong understanding of scheduling, contract administration, and construction documentation Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across field teams, consultants, and clients Field experience and safety awareness are highly valued Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required Relevant certifications (PMP or similar) are a plus Why Jacob White Construction We build complex projects in demanding environments — and we do it with discipline and urgency.
