You will work directly on fire suppression system components and assemblies - creating and maintaining 3D models, production drawings, and BOMs that support both manufacturing and third-party certification processes. This role works closely with our electrical engineering and operations teams in a detailed, compliance-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain 3D models and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor Develop fabrication-ready documentation including weldments, sheet metal flat patterns, pipe/tube assemblies, assembly details, and callouts Manage and maintain BOMs across multiple assemblies; ensure accuracy and version control Support drawing revision workflows and maintain complete revision history Create tube and pipe routing; produce permitting submittals and installation layouts Develop configurable parts using iParts, iAssemblies, and iLogic Collaborate with engineering staff on design changes, manufacturing documentation, and certification drawings Collaborate with electrical engineering on panel drawings and wiring diagrams in AutoCAD Maintain CAD file organization and adhere to internal drawing standards and naming conventions Required Qualifications 3-5 years of professional CAD experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks (3D modeling and 2D drawing) Strong fabrication knowledge: sheet metal, weldments, machined components, and pipe/tube routing Experience creating and managing multi-level BOMs Solid understanding of engineering drawing standards Ability to read and interpret mechanical and piping drawings Preferred Qualifications Experience with Tube & Pipe routing in Inventor or similar routing tools Familiarity with iLogic, iParts, or iAssemblies in Inventor Exposure to fire suppression, industrial equipment, or process piping systems Experience supporting third-party certification or approval drawings Background in drafting or a related technical field Experience with reading Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Fire Rover, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and offers a competitive salary for the position, commensurate with experience.
