Full Job Description Description:

We are looking for a skilled 2D AutoCAD drafter to generate drawings/models for our clients and in house fabrication team using AutoCAD software. In this role, you will be required to meet with engineers/management to discuss design concepts for projects, provide approval drawings, shop fabrication drawings and engineering drawings. To ensure success as an AutoCAD drafter, you should have extensive experience working with AutoCAD software, advanced design skills, and a keen eye for detail and experience with structural design and metal fabrication. Ultimately, a top-class AutoCAD drafter can design and create high-level design drawings that meet all the specifications of the client as well as provide fabrication drawings for manufacturing.

Requirements:

Advanced skills in AutoCAD Experience in metal fabrication and structural design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, as the market develops in unpredictable ways, consistently producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude. Recognize the importance of customer satisfaction through clarification of customer needs and requirements. Excellent written, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to priority and handle multiple tasks demonstrating excellent time management. Self motivated and contain the ability to manage time and projects well.
