Submittal Drafter Turn architectural designs into precision millwork drawings using CAD while collaborating on exciting custom construction projects! What's in it for you? Medical/Vision/Dental 401k Vacation And More!
Submittal Drafter Details:
Direct Hire position $43,680.00 to $52,000.00 /annually First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Utilize company drafting programs/CAD software to produce accurate millwork submittal drawings from Architectural Drawings for customer review. Analyze project documents and develop detailed drawings required to accurately convey scope of work and architectural intent while following fabrication standards. Coordinate drawings with the Submittal Coordinator and Project Manager. Complete submittal drawings on time and accurately. Ensure drawings comply with company/industry standards. Collaborate with Business Development, Project Management, Project Planning, and Production on complex scope.
Submittal Drafter Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD/drafting software with the ability to produce accurate technical and submittal drawings. Experience interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and design sketches to create detailed fabrication drawings. Strong understanding of drafting standards, millwork fabrication practices, and construction documentation. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to revise drawings, incorporate markups, and ensure accuracy while meeting project deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with project managers, coordinators, production, and customers.
