Contract Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Designer / Design Technician to support utility design and engineering projects. This role will work closely with engineering, right-of-way, land survey, and permitting teams to prepare drawings, complete design markups, develop plan sets, and support project documentation. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of recent AutoCAD experience. Drafting, design, CAD, or technical drawing experience. Basic mathematical and analytical skills. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and commitment to QA/QC. Ability and willingness to learn utility design and electrical distribution. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional project teams. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has a solid AutoCAD foundation, strong attention to detail, and an interest in developing a career in utility design. Candidates with experience as a CAD Designer, Design Technician, Drafting Technician, Utility Designer, or AutoCAD Designer are encouraged to apply.Pay:
$15.00 - $22.00 per hourExperience:
