Job Description

REPORTING
: The Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Plant Manager.
POSITION SUMMARY
: This position provides personnel supervision and technical support for the production / Shop floor.
NATURE AND SCOPE
: 1. Responsible for supervising the daily activities of that shift 2. Troubleshoot all injection molding processing issues 3. Monitor priorities, press performance and production output of that shift 4. Responsible for scheduling the efficient utilization of personnel 5. Supervise the development/training/evaluation of production Inspectors, material handler, Mold setter and QC 6. Perform rigorous new mold tryouts and samples 7. Assure that company policies and procedures are being followed 8. Document the need for equipment repairs and mold repairs 9. Communicate with other shifts to assure continuity to the next shift
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED
1. Five plus years of experience in injection molding operations 2. Advanced technical knowledge of the principles of Injection Molding 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
GENERAL :
Extended work hours, weekend work, etc., as may be required by business necessity.
Pay:
$25.45 - $30.64 per hour
