Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our residential and mixed-use design firm. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates who are newer to the structural engineering field and eager to develop their skills within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, design, and analysis of structural systems for a variety of projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Duties Assist senior engineers in developing structural designs for residential and mixed-use buildings. Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications under supervision. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to coordinate project requirements. Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Support the preparation of reports, documentation, and project presentations. Learn and apply relevant building codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering. Participate in project meetings to contribute ideas and updates on structural aspects. Maintain organized project files and documentation for efficient workflow. Experience Entry-level or newer to the structural engineering field with a foundational understanding of structural concepts. Relevant internships or coursework related to structural analysis, design, or construction is preferred. Familiarity with structural design software is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Eagerness to learn industry standards, safety practices, and technical skills necessary for growth in the field.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
