Job Requirements Titusville, FL Clearance Unspecified Polygraph Unspecified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Mechanical / Structures Engineer - CAD & Analysis We are looking for a Mechanical / Structures Engineer - CAD & Analysis to support advanced spaceflight programs The engineer will support spacecraft mechanical and structural systems across CAD modeling, analysis, integration, verification, and testing . Areas may include structures, mechanisms, docking and separation systems, payloads, and fracture/mechanical integrity. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and prepare CAD models and analysis geometry for structural, thermal, fluid, and other engineering analyses. Perform and support structural and mechanical analyses , including FEA, stress analysis, and structural performance assessments. Review mechanical and structural designs, requirements, analyses, and technical data to identify issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Support engineering activities involving structures, mechanisms, docking and separation systems, payloads, and other spacecraft mechanical systems . Support mechanical and structural integration, verification, qualification, and testing , including evaluation of test results. Support evaluation of fracture, fatigue, material strength, and structural integrity as applicable to flight hardware. Collaborate with thermal, electrical, propulsion, avionics, mission design, and other engineering disciplines to evaluate interfaces and integrated performance. Communicate technical findings and recommendations and support resolution of mechanical and structural issues. Required Qualifications B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline. 3+ years of relevant engineering experience in mechanical systems, structures, aerospace hardware, or related fields. Significant experience with Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD tools , including creating, modifying, simplifying, and exporting engineering models or
