  • Medical Offices, Surgical Centers Position Summary The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Essential Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of commercial construction projects. Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project progress. Track procurement of materials and long-lead items to support project schedules. Monitor project budgets, cost reports, and subcontractor commitments. Assist with project scheduling and identify potential risks or delays. Participate in project meetings and communicate action items to the project team. Support quality control and ensure work complies with contract documents and company standards. Help facilitate project closeout, including punch lists, as-built drawings, warranties, and final documentation. Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all company and OSHA safety requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 1+ years of experience supporting commercial construction projects. Understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, contracts, and building systems. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Commercial construction experience in healthcare, multifamily, mixed-use, municipal, or office projects. Knowledge of design-build or construction management delivery methods. OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
