$42.30/hourWe are seeking an experienced HV Battery Structural CAE Engineer to support advanced electrified powertrain development. This temporary role focuses on structural analysis, simulation, and design optimization for high-voltage battery systems using industry-leading CAE tools.Key Responsibilities:
Build and analyze 3D structural CAE models for battery systems from CAD dataPerform non-linear FEA simulations using tools such as ABAQUS, HyperMesh, and OptiStructEvaluate results and deliver design recommendations to engineering teamsSupport battery design validation through correlation with physical test dataCollaborate cross-functionally with design, testing, and global engineering teamsIdentify and resolve complex modeling and performance issuesDevelop technical reports with clear findings and recommendationsSupport continuous improvement in battery system performance and reliabilityQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering4+ years of experience in structural CAE analysis and simulationAdvanced expertise with ABAQUS, HyperMesh, nCode/fe-safe, and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)Strong knowledge of non-linear FEA, fatigue analysis, and material behaviorExperience with model correlation, optimization tools, and Python scripting preferredExcellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsEmployee Benefits:
