Job Description

  • Job Overview
  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer (licensed PE) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for project management, designing, and overseeing civil engineering site plans in various sectors, including infrastructure, residential land development, commercial land development, industrial, construction support, stormwater management, etc.

This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, proficiency in design software, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Candidate will oversee work of drafting staff and ensure quality assurance and quality control.

Candidate will collaborate with other licensed professionals to solve engineering and surveying related problems.
  • Responsibilities
  • Develop and review engineering designs and specifications for civil engineering projects
  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD for drafting and design tasks
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to ensure project viability
  • Understand and interpret zoning requirements for land-use approvals
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD and other relevant engineering software
  • Professional Engineering license or EIT with ability to sit for licensing exam is required
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
