CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our Bridge Team in Cleveland, OH or Columbus, OH, where you'll play a key role in the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and transportation structure projects. What You'll Do:

Independently complete bridge engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for bridge and transportation projects

Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership

Support the planning, design, inspection, evaluation, rehabilitation, and replacement of bridges and related transportation structures to improve safety, reliability, and mobility

Identify and resolve technical discrepancies related to bridge systems and structural performance, applying standard procedures and best practices for public safety and infrastructure resilience

Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve operational issues and minimize delays in critical bridge and transportation infrastructure projects

Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments

What You Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required

Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings

Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office

Understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws

Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset

Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $105,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
