This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognized contractor that combines the resources and project portfolio of a major organization with the support and visibility of a close-knit local team. Employees receive formal promotion and compensation reviews every six months, providing a clear path toward Project Manager. This group takes on some of the company's most interesting and technically challenging work. Projects have included improvements at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, specialized work within Ohio State athletic facilities, industrial projects, and complex commercial renovations. The Opportunity You'll work directly alongside experienced Project Managers, Project Executives, and field leadership while gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle. Because these projects move quickly and vary in scope, you'll receive more ownership and broader experience than you would on one large project for several years.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project documentation Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams Supporting project budgets, cost forecasting, scheduling, and procurement Participating in estimating, value engineering, and subcontractor buyout Building relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners Assisting projects from preconstruction through closeout What They're Looking For Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Internship experience or up to 3 years of commercial construction experience Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Interest in progressing into project management Ability to work closely with both office and field teams
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
