This role leads design efforts, performs structural analysis and calculations, develops project scopes and estimates, and oversees a team of designers to ensure accuracy and constructability. Responsibilities Include Design foundations and structural steel systems for glass furnaces, batch plants, and related equipment. Provide technical guidance on steel design and modifications. Lead design efforts and perform structural analysis and calculations. Develop project scopes and estimates. Oversee a team of designers to ensure accuracy and constructability of projects. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 7+ years of experience designing structural steel systems PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 4 years Proficient in AutoCAD (5+ years); Inventor and other structural design tools a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work in both English and metric units Experience with glass furnace, batch, or cullet systems highly preferred Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Toledo, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $62.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
