Federal Sales Executive

A/E/C Services Location:

Position Summary:

The Federal Sales Executive

•A/E/C Services serves in a primary hunter role, driving growth by expanding existing federal relationships and contracts while developing new client relationships with federal agencies and industry partners. This role requires deep experience in federal A/E/C pursuits, strong leadership capability, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to strengthen MSI's federal pursuit strategy, improve win rates, and build long-term relationships with key accounts. This is a remote role that will require period travel to execute the job duties described below.

Core Focus:

Expand existing client relationships and secure new business opportunities within the federal market. Shape and advance MSI's federal sales strategy through market insight, positioning, and account development. Build durable relationships with strategic accounts and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead client relationship management, market analysis, sales strategy development, and competitive positioning within the federal community, including industry partners. Develop and execute strategic account plans that achieve annual targets and drive year-over-year growth of the federal program. Help manage programs, define expansion strategies, and drive revenue growth. Coordinate client service engagement, identify new opportunities, and collaborate across MSI to win task orders and new contracts. Collaborate with MSI team members to develop, maintain, or enhance business development planning and related activities including the necessary preparations for pre-positioning, proposal development, and project interviews. With other sales and business development leaders, co-manages opportunity tracking within the company's CRM system (Salesforce).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or other related discipline that aligns with MOCA System's Business Lines plus ten (10) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Professional experience working with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs. Outstanding communication skills Experienced with negotiations CRM (Salesforce) experience is required Experience leading federal proposals (SF330, RFP/RFQ) Professional experience with consultative selling approaches. Due to the nature of the role, US citizenship is required.

Starting Initial Salary Range:

$150,000 to $180,000 annual salary plus variable compensation plan. Full benefit plan including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k) with generous employer match and an HSA employer contribution in certain circumstances.
