Job Description
MARCO Federal Services, LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer to support federal engineering and construction projects from estimating and planning through execution and closeout. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract requirements. Perform quantity/material take-offs and assist with labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimating. Assist with developing, updating, and tracking project schedules and milestones. Support RFIs, submittals, procurement, cost tracking, change orders, and project documentation. Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Participate in site visits, field measurements, surveys, inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout. Identify and communicate technical, cost, schedule, quality, and safety concerns. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field. 2-3 years of experience. Ability to read engineering/construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of take-offs, estimating, scheduling, and project coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel; familiarity with RS Means, 4eclicks, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, CAD, or similar software is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Availability and flexibility to travel to project sites, including overnight or multi-day travel when required. Ability to safely move through active construction/project sites and comply with PPE and site safety requirements. Ability to meet applicable federal customer site-access and security requirements.
