Job Description
We're looking for a CAD Specialist / CAD Technician to join our outstanding team supporting the 99th Readiness Division, Directorate of Public Works at Joint Base Lakehurst, Dix, McGuire (JBLDM). If you love CAD, BIM, GIS, engineering and geospatial support in a fast-paced / team environment, then this role is for you! We need your expertise to collaborate as a technical resource with engineers, architects, and project managers to support engineering projects involving facilities, utility systems, roads and infrastructure assets. Required Qualifications Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting CAD, BIM, GIS, engineering design, or engineering information management environments
- required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Geographic Information Systems, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- preferred, but not required. Proficiency with the following
- desired: Bentley MicroStation AutoCAD ArcGIS Other GIS systems Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to independently analyze technical information, interpret engineering standards, and develop recommendations supporting engineering and infrastructure projects.
