Under the supervision of Architect, the Architectural Drafter will have as extensive knowledge in specialized function, and a strong understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Develop processes that require innovation and ingenuity. Interact with internal and external personnel on matters of significant importance. Modifies existing designs to develop or improve them. Uses computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools: Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal: Coordinates design criteria with engineering, material, and planning group in accordance with contractual specifications. Responsibilities Timely completion of payroll timesheets and mileage reimbursement forms as required. Provide effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring in an effort to identify and implement opportunities for improvement and to execute best practices. Maintains an organized work area. Coach and mentor less experienced subordinate team members and create an environment for knowledge transfer and cross-training. Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies. Monitor performance of the assigned department to ensure optimal success. Interact with all construction and office personnel to make sure designs and plans meet their needs. Coordinate all design/ drafting activities including without limitation, the following. Drafting Maintains project schedule, identifies and solves problems. Address city plan comments. Understands the project plans and specifications. Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees. Prepares, submits and processes construction plans thru local jurisdictions. Willing to learn and Understands dental office work flow and operation. Willing to learn and Understand all dental equipment requirements and specs as they pertain to dental office design. Other duties as assigned by management. Required 1-2 years of experience in AutoCAD and Revit. Preferred AutoCAD certified, Revit Certified and Energy Pro Certified. Procore experience.
