For this in-person role, we are looking for a candidate who can grow with us. Candidates at all experience levels are welcome to apply. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to work on architectural projects located throughout the Midwest. Our work is primarily schools, churches, municipal buildings, and fitness centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior design, space planning, materials and finishes, and construction documentation, with the ability to collaborate closely with our architectural team throughout the design and construction process. Responsibilities Developing interior design concepts, space plans, finish selections, and interior elevations Producing and reviewing interior construction documents and drawings Researching and selecting materials, finishes, furnishings, and interior products Collaborating with architects, consultants, contractors, and the internal design team Assisting with presentations, client meetings, and design development Requirements Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD (primarily) and Revit (a plus) Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, and construction drawings Strong attention to detail and an interest in thoughtful, functional design
Preferred Skills:
AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word Familiarity with building codes, accessibility standards, and interior construction At our firm, every team member plays an important role.
