Civil Draftsman

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Draftsman to join our growing construction team. This role is responsible for producing accurate and detailed civil drawings, working with survey data, and supporting project development through 3D modeling and earthwork analysis. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Civil 3D, understands construction plans and specifications, and can efficiently generate models and quantities for project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and modify civil construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D Import, process, and work with survey data for project development Interpret construction plans, profiles, and technical specifications Perform 3D earthwork takeoffs and volume calculations Develop surfaces, alignments, and grading models Collaborate with surveyors, project managers, and field teams Ensure drawings meet company and industry standards

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is required Experience importing and working with survey data (field data, point clouds, etc.) Strong ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications Experience performing 3D earthwork takeoffs and volume analysis Knowledge of grading, drainage, and site development is preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of civil drafting or related experience Experience in construction or site development projects
