Job Description AutoCAD Drafters work daily on client projects, to ensure that our drawings are accurate, adhere to our manufacturing standards, and meet client design expectations. While the role is largely independent, we coordinate regularly with our Project Management (PM) and Sales/Estimating teams during set up and continued development of each project. This is a foundational role. Drafters learn the framework of our products and processes with the goal of advancing into client facing teams such as Project Management, Sales, Client Solutions or R&D roles such as Product Development. Skills and Experience Degree in Architectural Technology, Computer Drafting, or equivalent experience Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Ability to read and understand architectural and construction blueprints Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Use AutoCAD to prepare external drawings for clients and internal drawings for production Examine client documents for scope, design and product placement Coordinate with PM and Sales teams on projects Communicate delays or issues with relevant teams Draft technical details Goals and Required Outputs Gain familiarity with our products and services Become proficient with hardware design and installation instructions Practice effective communication, time management, and task prioritization skills Prepare for advancement into client facing roles
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
