Job Description
Civil DesignerAs a Civil Designer, you will support the design and development of projects from initial concepts through completion. Working closely with Project Managers and other team members, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day design and drafting activities while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with all aspects of civil design and drafting throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and revise engineering drawings, plans, and design documents.
Support technical problem-solving and engineering design activities.
Develop an understanding of project permitting requirements, codes, and applicable regulations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established schedules, deadlines, and project budgets.
Monitor assigned tasks and manage time effectively to ensure work is completed on schedule.
Communicate proactively with Project Managers and team members regarding project requirements, challenges, and progress.
Ask questions, seek guidance when needed, and collaborate effectively with team members.
Review your own work for accuracy and completeness before submission.
Apply lessons learned from previous projects, colleagues, and real-world experience to continuously improve your work.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment where knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and professional development are encouraged.
