In this pivotal role, you will lead innovative architectural projects from conceptualization through detailed design, ensuring excellence in aesthetic appeal, functionality, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will drive the creation of sustainable, accessible, and cutting-edge architectural solutions that meet client needs and project goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence impactful designs while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Header:
Duties Lead the development of comprehensive architectural designs, including concept sketches, detailed construction drawings, and 3D models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and ArchiCAD. Coordinate project schedules to ensure timely delivery of design phases while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Prepare and review construction documentation, including construction detail documentation and building code compliance reports, ensuring adherence to local regulations and accessibility standards. Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to enhance design accuracy, facilitate collaboration, and streamline project workflows. Conduct building code analysis and building regulatory compliance assessments to ensure all designs meet legal standards. Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams through negotiation and effective communication to align project objectives and resolve design or construction issues. Support business development efforts by preparing compelling presentations, renderings using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software, and assisting in proposal development for new projects. Oversee construction management activities including budgeting, construction estimating, contract review, and site visits to ensure quality control during construction phases. Develop sustainable design strategies incorporating energy efficiency principles and construction accessibility regulations to promote environmentally responsible architecture.
Header:
Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper 3D), SketchUp, and 3ds Max for architectural modeling and drafting. Strong knowledge of building code analysis, construction regulatory compliance, and accessibility standards. Expertise in project scheduling tools to manage timelines effectively across multiple projects. Skilled in construction estimating, budgeting, contract management, and negotiation with clients and contractors. Experience with BIM tools for integrated project delivery and coordination among disciplines. Ability to produce high-quality renderings and visualizations using Adobe Creative Suite for presentations and client proposals. Solid understanding of sustainable design principles and interior design integration within architectural projects. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Demonstrated experience in renovation projects as well as new construction within complex regulatory environments.
