Job Description
We are seeking a mid‑level Architect to support our Project Architect and broader design team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending design, technical detailing, and project coordination in a fast‑paced design‑build environment. Responsibilities Work under the guidance of a Project Architect to support design, documentation, and project delivery. Participate in design development, assisting with conceptual studies, schematic layouts, and design presentations. Prepare project documentation for all phases, including drawings, specifications, and coordination sets. Assist in evaluating client requirements and developing design solutions aligned with project goals. Research materials, products, and building systems to support informed design decisions. Contribute to the development and documentation of architectural details and construction assemblies. Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal construction teams to ensure accurate, constructible documentation. Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents. Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction coordination discussions as needed. Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and consistency across all project documents. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (professional degree preferred but not required). 5+ years of professional architectural experience in an architecture or design‑build environment. Strong understanding of building codes, zoning, and regulatory processes. Demonstrated experience preparing drawings and documentation across multiple project phases. Proficiency in Revit required; experience with AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam preferred. Ability to collaborate within small, fast‑paced project teams. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Licensure is a plus but not required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hartland, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
