ELECTRONICS / ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Circuit Card Repair | Troubleshooting | Aviation/MRO Perform Air is an FAA Repair Station located in Gilbert. We are looking for an experienced Electronics / Electromechanical Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and maintaining electronic and electromechanical equipment, including circuit cards and electrical assemblies .Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electronic and electromechanical equipment. Diagnose component-level and circuit-level failures. Repair and test circuit cards/PCBs. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other electronic test equipment. Perform soldering, desoldering, component replacement, and wiring repairs. Troubleshoot relays, switches, motors, actuators, sensors, connectors, and other electromechanical components. Perform functional testing and document repair results. Follow FAA, OEM, company, and safety procedures where applicable. Work closely with maintenance, engineering, quality, and operations teams to identify and resolve recurring failures.Preferred Experience:
Circuit card/PCB troubleshooting and repair Component-level electronics repair Analog and digital electronics Electromechanical systems Soldering and rework Electrical troubleshooting Wiring and connector repair Test equipment operation Reading schematics and technical drawings Aviation, aerospace, MRO, military, or industrial electronics experienceIdeal Candidate:
Someone who can take a piece of equipment that isn't working, troubleshoot the failure, identify the bad component or circuit, make the repair, and prove that the equipment works correctly afterward.Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant electronics/electromechanical repair experience preferred. Ability to troubleshoot independently. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as as part of a maintenance team. Why Join Us?
