Fiber Optic Splicer

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and equipment
• Perform fiber optic splicing and termination
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic network issues
• Conduct fiber optic cable routing and management
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines

Requirements:

• Mechanical knowledge for handling fiber optic cables and equipment
• Electrical knowledge for working with low voltage systems
• Familiarity with fiber optic splicing and termination techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot network issues
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients One Year prior experience as a Fiber Technician or related field is preferred.
