Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and sustain stable and capable production processes to maximize equipment functionality, safety, throughput, and quality.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assembly automation, robotics, workstations, and automated equipment.
Diagnose and repair PLC controls, including electrical components, servo drives, motors, wiring, and control panels.
Modify and update PLC programs for Siemens, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley (PLC-5, SLC500, ControlLogix), and other automation platforms.
Document and maintain accurate records of program changes, prints, and electrical schematics.
Lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize equipment downtime, improve throughput, and address safety concerns.
Establish, maintain, and administer electrical control plans to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Actively participate in simultaneous engineering efforts for process improvements and new project launches.
Collaborate with maintenance teams, skilled trades, and business unit leaders to support production and continuous improvement initiatives Location(s) 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326,
United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in an automotive assembly and/or machining environmentProven programming experience with Fanuc and Allen-Bradley PLC platforms (PLC-5, SLC500, ControlLogix)Strong troubleshooting skills with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work flexible schedules, including various shifts and overtime, to support production needsPreferred Qualifications:
