Job Description
About the Role As an Automation Robotics Technician, you will serve as a critical link in our manufacturing process by ensuring the seamless operation of robotic machine tending and welding systems. You will leverage your technical expertise in programming and troubleshooting to optimize production throughput and maintain high-quality output across our automated cells. Responsibilities Configure, program, and calibrate robotic arms and sensors to ensure precise material handling and CNC machine integration. Drive operational efficiency by monitoring automated systems and proactively addressing performance bottlenecks. Execute comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controller issues within robotic work cells. Utilize precision measurement tools to verify part quality and document process variations. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine robotic paths and improve overall system reliability. Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to industrial regulations and maintaining an organized, hazard-free workspace. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience with multi-axis robotic systems such as FANUC, Yaskawa Motoman, or Nachi. Proficiency in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical control systems. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and complex process documentation. Technical diploma or Associate degree in Robotics, Automation, or a related field. Strong commitment to safety protocols and experience working in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Preferred Skills Experience with CAD/CAM software and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite for reporting and documentation. Proven track record of training team members and fostering collaborative technical environments.
