In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and programming industrial robotic systems to ensure seamless automation operations. Your expertise will help optimize production efficiency, uphold safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Install, configure, and calibrate industrial robotic systems, including Fanuc robots and other robotics platforms, ensuring proper integration with existing manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, programmable logic controllers, and industrial electrical systems to minimize downtime and maintain operational flow. Program and modify robot control systems using ladder logic (LD), robot programming languages, and HMI configuration tools to meet production specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures, utilizing AutoCAD drawings and vision inspection systems for precise troubleshooting. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, system configurations, and repair procedures following industry standards such as CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Collaborate with engineering teams on lean manufacturing initiatives, automation upgrades, and system enhancements to improve productivity and safety. Experience Proven experience working as a Robot Technician or in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on robotics automation. Strong knowledge of Fanuc robotic systems, industrial controls, PLC programming (including ladder logic), and industrial electrical systems. Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting, PLC systems installation and repair, and distributed control systems (DCS). Familiarity with vision inspection systems, tooling setup, blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and AutoCAD is highly desirable. Practical understanding of lean manufacturing principles, CGMP standards in manufacturing environments, and human-machine interface (HMI) configuration. Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently while maintaining safety protocols in an industrial setting.
