Focus:
I&C field work + ZAP EDM sinker programming/operations What you'll do Execute installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation, sensors, PLCs, and automated process control systems. Program, set up, and operate ZAP EDM sinker machinery for high-precision manufacturing. Collaborate with engineering/production teams to keep manufacturing activities on plan and compliant. Conduct instrumentation testing with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and supplier simulators; analyze results and document findings. Read and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering procedures; run formal test protocols. Operate electrical/electronic test equipment to validate performance and troubleshoot faults. Adhere to and champion quality, health, and safety procedures for every assignment. Support generalized I&C field tasks and broaden scope through cross-training. Perform required field cable installation in industrial settings. Must-have qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with precision tooling/equipment. Preferred Military electronics background (e.g., Electronics Technician, Avionics) or comparable experience. 2+ years in a related electronics/I&C role. Experience with ZAP EDM or other sinker/wire EDM platforms. Proficiencies Commercial and industrial electrical work: installation, troubleshooting, repair, diagnostics. Heavy-equipment electrical systems; equipment diagnostics and service. Electrical panel installation; equipment wiring and commissioning. Access control systems; preventive and corrective maintenance. Fluent in electrical schematic interpretation and technical documentation.
