Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Service & Repair Technician to support product repair, refurbishment, testing, and service operations. This position is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, basic electronics experience, and a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving. The successful candidate will inspect, diagnose, clean, repair, refurbish, and test a variety of electrical products, ensuring equipment meets quality and performance standards before being returned to customers or inventory. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, clean, diagnose, repair, refurbish, and test returned equipment and accessories Perform troubleshooting and modular repairs on electronic and mechanical products Replace serviceable components such as: Batteries Screens and displays Charge ports Cables and connectors Housings and seals Circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) Utilize hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and diagnostic equipment safely and accurately Follow repair procedures, firmware update instructions, testing protocols, and quality standards Determine whether products should be repaired, refurbished, escalated, or scrapped Complete work orders, service records, and system updates accurately and timely Assist with repair-part inventory management, receiving, storage, and replenishment Package and prepare repaired products for shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements Support cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills and ability to enter work order information Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred 1-2 years of experience in: Equipment repair Maintenance Product refurbishment Electronics assembly Mechanical service Agricultural equipment service Similar technical environments Experience working with electrical, battery-powered, mechanical, or electronic equipment. Customer service experience using phone and computer systems Skills & Abilities Strong mechanical aptitude Comfort working with small components and assemblies Ability to learn product-specific diagnostics and repair procedures Excellent organizational and time-management skills Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship Positive attitude and collaborative approach Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds Repetitive use of tools and equipment throughout the workday Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment with noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures Work Environment This role works primarily in a repair and service environment where exposure to moving machinery, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noise levels may occur. Occasional overtime, alternate shifts, or weekend work may be required based on business needs. Travel No routine travel is expected for this position. Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
