Full Job Description Engineering Technician PAY:

40-43/hr

DURATION

6 months. Potential for conversion but not guaranteed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Independently fabricate, troubleshoot, and evaluate breadboards and prototypes in a timely manner. Consistently display attention to detail by following specified test plans exactly, and then acquiring and recording test data accurately. Effectively evaluate and correct documents, drawings, and schematics, looking especially for recording and reporting errors or ambiguities. Repairs, maintains, calibrates and occasionally may design and build production and lab testers and equipment. Derives, tests and documents Corrective Actions necessary by independently evaluating circuit performance and testing procedures. Consistently maintains positive and effective working relationships across multiple levels of the organization Successfully educates new and/or seasoned employees in the operation and testing procedures of new and existing products. Participates in improving the operation of, and general maintenance of the Lab. Partner with engineers and team members to execute design changes and system improvements in line with project objectives. Use critical thinking to resolve technical challenges and maintain high attention to detail. Accurately interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Technology Field 3 years of relevant experience Must have soldering experience/training/ability Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with all types of test equipment Ability to communicate effectively, working independently and in groups Effective at instructing and leading other personnel in learning new processes
