The technician will assist with diagnosing, repairing, and testing returned electronic equipment, primarily broadband cable amplifiers and related RF devices used in telecommunications networks. This is an entry-level technical role suitable for candidates who are interested in electronics repair, telecommunications equipment, and hands-on technical work. The selected candidate may be sent to Taiwan for approximately one month of technical training, with airfare, accommodation, and per diem fully covered by the company. Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair returned electronic equipment (RMA units)
- Perform functional testing and quality checks on repaired units
- Replace electronic components such as RF modules, hybrids, pads, and other parts
- Follow repair procedures and technical documentation
- Record repair results and maintain accurate repair logs
- Work closely with the logistics and production teams to process RMA units efficiently
- Assist with quality control (QC) testing for new and repaired equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workbench and repair environment
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering (EE), or a related field is required
- Recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of electronics and electronic components
- Ability to use basic tools such as screwdrivers, multimeters, and small hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment Additional Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder)
- Fluent in English is a must
