Job Description

BSI Components and Repair, The leading third-party electronic component repair service for GE, Senvion and Siemens wind turbines,is seeking to hire a Senior Electronics Repair Technician with 5+ years of experience - no travel. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
What You Will Be Doing:
Analyzing, troubleshooting, replacing components in the repair of large industrial PCBs. Electrical/mechanical part-level inspection, analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replacement. Creating detailed build/troubleshooting procedures. Performing documentation creation/updates as needed to improve proficiency and efficiency. Apply troubleshooting skills and confidence in making suggestions for process improvements. Interpret and utilize electronic and electro-mechanical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation to diagnose issues. Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and customer teams to resolve complex technical issues. What We Are Looking For Associate degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent military / technical training. 5+ years of experience as an electronics repair technician involving complex PCBs. Ability to read and interpret electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical schematics and drawings. Proficient soldering under a microscope with good manual dexterity (solder components as small as 0201). Experience performing preventative maintenance, installations, repairs, and system diagnostics. Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters (DVMs), and common diagnostic tools. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and thrive in a team environment.

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
