Annual Job Summary:

Hands-on Electrical Engineer responsible for systems-level electrical/software troubleshooting, PLC programming, electrical schematics, BOMs, component selection, and equipment integration . Must be able to troubleshoot independently with little supervision. Experience with laser systems is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot complete electrical/software systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, cameras, and other devices. Create/edit AutoCAD electrical schematics, including high- and low-voltage circuits and panel layouts. Select electrical/control components and create/maintain BOMs. Maintain accurate document/revision control and as-built documentation. Program/modify PLCs, stepper motors, and servo drives. Connect and configure devices through serial, USB, Ethernet, and vendor/proprietary software. Support new equipment integration and learn new technologies independently.

Required Qualifications:

Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on PLC programming experience. Strong AutoCAD electrical drawing experience. Experience with component selection, BOMs, and document control. Experience with stepper motors and/or servo drives. Strong complete-system electrical troubleshooting skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Minimum 1 year relevant experience; recent graduates will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Laser systems experience. Python or C++ programming. Robotics/Fanuc experience. Industrial protocols such as Modbus or EtherNet/IP. Machine vision/camera or smart-device experience.
