Full-Time | Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing pharmacy organization seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead its pharmacy operation in Lake Mary, Florida . This is a senior pharmacy leadership position with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, dispensing, quality assurance, compliance and pharmacy staff leadership . Offering a highly competitive $160,000-$200,000 base salary plus KPI-driven annual bonus , this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compounding pharmacist looking to take ownership of a high-quality pharmacy operation. The Role As Pharmacist in Charge, you will provide leadership and direction across the pharmacy while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, quality, compliance and operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations Provide leadership and direction to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff Maintain current knowledge of compounding best practices and applicable federal and state regulations Ensure compliance with company SOPs, state and federal regulations and applicable accreditation standards Maintain and continually improve pharmacy quality and compounding processes Coordinate and delegate responsibilities across the pharmacy team Oversee staff training, competency and validation Manage employee performance and provide ongoing feedback and development Support the development, revision and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures Lead and facilitate regulatory and third-party pharmacy inspections Drive operational efficiency and appropriate utilization of products and services Support departmental budgeting and resource planning Monitor key performance indicators including operational performance, employee satisfaction, retention and turnaround times What We're Looking For To be considered, you should have: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Current pharmacist registration/licensure Minimum 4 years of compounding pharmacy experience Strong experience across sterile and/or non-sterile compounding Formal compounding training or equivalent hands-on experience Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, compliance and quality standards Previous pharmacy management or leadership experience is highly desirable Experience leading, developing and managing pharmacy staff Strong operational and organizational skills Experience using pharmacy management systems Excellent communication and people-leadership abilities We're particularly interested in experienced PICs, Pharmacy Managers and senior compounding pharmacists who are ready to take ownership of a pharmacy operation.
