Job Description
- Short Description
- Bowman has an opportunity for an Electrical Studies Engineer II to join our team remotely in the United States.
- Purpose
- Focuses on Power System Electrical Studies mostly for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
- Responsibilities
- Leadership and Direction
- + Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution.
- At the Operational and Company Level
- + Supporting existing and prospective clients and enhancing client relationships through efficient communication and project management. + Represent project team in client communications and resolutions.
- Do the Work
- + Perform electrical studies including, but not limited to, AC short circuit calculations, DC short circuit calculations, AC arc flash, DC arc flash, load flow, grounding, ampacity studies, and protection device coordination, transient and switching overvoltage using SKM, ETAP, PSSE, WinIGS, CYMCAP, PSCAD or similar software packages.

- Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required; master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering or related discipline is preferred.
