An Electrical Engineer designs, develops, and tests products and systems that use or produce electricity, including power generators, electric motors, radar and navigation systems, and communication systems. Works on larger electrical systems rather than small electronic products or devices.
Primary Responsibilities The Electrical Engineer supports the reliability, maintenance, and improvement of electrical power and control systems at RoyOMartin's Chopin manufacturing facility. This entry-level role works alongside experienced engineering, maintenance, and operations professionals to develop hands-on technical expertise in industrial electrical systems, controls, automation, and project execution. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with analyzing and troubleshooting electrical power and control systems Support the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of electrical projects Support Allen-Bradley PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo systems, HMIs, and industrial networks Assist with maintaining Rockwell AOP, EDS, and firmware files Maintain electrical drawings, documentation, and RoyOMartin specifications Work with the electrical department to develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment Assist with electrical project schedules, budgets, and capital project activities Support plant arc flash studies, electrical safety documentation, and
NFPA 70E
