Senior Digital Electrical Engineer We are seeking a self motivated Senior Digital Electrical Engineer as a hands‑on individual contributor, one that is ready to expand their technical knowledge working on complex system designs. As a Senior Digital Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams designing, developing, and verifying digital circuit boards for use in our complex imaging systems. These applications include multi-processor/FPGA boards, battery powered and low power electronics, Image processing and many other areas. •Due to program requirements - you must be a U.S. Citizen.•
Duties/Responsibilities Job Description:
Working clos with Product management and business development to help define our products. Translates project and system requirements into well-defined hardware designs and boards Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams from Product, Software, Mechanical and Systems Engineering. Hands-on debug and testing of prototypes and deliverable hardware. Release documentation into production for manufacturing Supporting product introduction into production. Solving complex problems and finding solutions with limited direction - contributes to requirements development, proposes ways forward, and adapts appropriately to changes in requirements. Able to manage a task with multiple cross functional members and effectively communicates status to project leadership and customers. Skills/Abilities High-speed digital design experience and knowledge of embedded processors and interfaces such as PCIe, DDR3/DDR4 memories, Ethernet, 1553, SERDES, Aurora, UARTS, MIPI, etc. FPGA board design experience, including AMD Xilinx devices such as Artix/Kintex 7/Ultrascale families, Zynq 7000 and Zynq MPSoC Ultrascale designs. Ability to write detailed design specifications. Experience integrating and debugging systems in the lab Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Thorough understanding of engineering theories and procedures.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Experience:
5-10 years experience in electrical engineering or related field.
Additional Job Description Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Mentor Graphics PADs Schematic and Layout Tools Experience in Altium Schematic and Layout Tools. Experience with AMD/Xilinx
FPGA/SOC
design flow tools is a plus.
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
